Smarte Carte’s commitment to sustainability is demonstrated through our use of recycled materials and remanufactured components. Since the late 1980s, we have made our cart frames from stainless steel, which has a long service life and is 100 percent recyclable, making it an excellent environmental performer and a good choice for Smarte Carte.

To demonstrate further our commitment to sustainability, we have developed a process to remanufacture many of our products. By using remanufactured products, we reduce waste and also conserve up to 85 percent of the “value add” of the original manufacturing process. These savings afford us the ability to develop and add new technological advances.
