Smarte Locke 3000 Series electronic lockers are keyless and utilize a computer-generated or user-generated PIN code for locker access.
Computer Generated PIN Code
- Customers use a touch-screen interface at the locker rental station to rent a locker.
- Customers can pay for locker rental using cash or credit card.
- The onboard computer generates a unique PIN code, assigns and opens a locker.
- The customer receives a printed ticket with locker number and PIN code.
- The locker number and PIN code are entered at the rental station to reopen the locker.
- The computer-generated PIN code system can be operated in single or multiple entry.
User Generated PIN Code
The user-generated PIN Code system is recommended only for applications where a ticket is not desirable.
- Customers use a touch-screen interface at the locker rental station to rent a locker.
- The customer can pay for locker rental using cash or credit card.
- The customer creates a secret PIN code and the system assigns and opens a locker.
- The customer either receives a printed ticket with just their locker number or no ticket is dispensed.
- The customer enters their locker number and secret PIN code at the rental station to reopen the locker.
- The user-generated PIN code system is typically used only in the multiple entry mode.
