Ed Rudis joined Smarte Carte in 1999 as Senior Vice President. In November 2001, Ed was promoted to President and CEO. Since joining the company, Ed has successfully implemented several organizational and operational changes aimed toward improving service to clients and customers.
Ed has an extensive background in airport concessions management having worked for Host Marriott Corporation for over seventeen years. At Host Marriott, he served as General Manager, Director and most recently, as Vice President of Operations, Midwest Region where he managed and developed retail restaurant concessions in airports. Ed is a graduate of Southwestern Illinois College.
